Company developing first canine lymphoma medicine
Hearing the news that a beloved dog has cancer is devastating, but fresh hope is on the horizon for dogs diagnosed with lymphoma, one of the most common canine cancers. VDC-1101, a targeted medicine designed specifically to treat canine lymphoma, is currently in development by Veterinary Emerging Technologies Company, or VetDC, a veterinary pharmaceutical startup in Fort Collins, Colorado. VDC-1101 is already creating a stir in the veterinary community due to its impressive results in clinical trials, says Steven Roy, president and CEO of VetDC.
